Pedro Patrocínio was born in Lisbon, lived in Japan for part of his childhood, and graduated in Cinema in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2007. With a realistic and intimate visual approach, PP sews stories, environments, and characters deeply and engagingly, providing an immersive experience in the universes it presents. His curriculum includes works for Nike, Vodafone, Mercedes, Apple, Red Bull, Ikea, Samsung, FPF, NOS, Compal, Sagres, Mimosa, Betclic, Canal11, EDP, Nivea, and Tudor, among others.

In Cinema, PP signed the photograph direction for award-winning projects, such as the documentary Complexo Universo Paralelo, I Love Kuduro, Scratching the surface by Vhils, and Fire Memories, among dozens of other projects. In 2020, a highlight for his participation in the cinematography unit of the American film “The Color of Space,” by renowned director Richard Stanley, with the participation of Nicolas Cage, a film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (Tiff).In 2021 worked in partnership with Mike Pricket and Laurent Pujol on the series 100 foot wave from HBO, winner of best Emmys on Outstanding Cinematography For A Nonfiction Program – 2022
