Creating a film that reflects the next 50 years of EDP was a meaningful and inspiring challenge — one I embraced with dedication, focus and care.

This project would not have been possible without the collective effort of so many people. A sincere thank you to the entire Bro team, especially my executive producer Nuno Mendes, for leading with vision and bringing together such a strong and committed crew.

To Havas, for the trust and creative partnership — Vasco Carvalho, with you everything flows.

To the EDP team, for their elegance, openness and belief in imagining new possibilities. A truly human and forward-thinking company, deeply rooted in its identity while looking outwards to the world.

To our post-production team, for crafting these worlds with precision and sensitivity, in perfect harmony with Artur Ribeiro (art direction) and André Shawkovsky whose mastery of light elevated every frame. I still remember our first meeting, when he asked why I wouldn’t be shooting — and I said, this time I just wanted to think the film… and trust him to bring the light. And he did.

To Marcos Castiel, for making everything flow — image, sound and rhythm.

And finally, to our protagonists:

Carminho, for her timeless presence.

Vhils (Alexandre Farto) — over 20 years of friendship and respect.

Aires Mateus, a creator of worlds, with rare humility.

And Jéssica Silva, for her strength, energy and light.

These are the people who inspire us.

These are the stories that move us forward.

Because the future isn’t predicted —

it is imagined.
